Listening In: A Monthly Women’s Therapy Group

This monthly group will launch Wednesday, March 18th (6:30-7:45pm)

Listening In is a monthly, in-person therapy group for women who want to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and safely connect with others, in order to more fully trust their inner voice, without the intensity or commitment of weekly group therapy.

Each group session will start off with a guided mindfulness exercise, and follow with a reflective journaling or doodling prompt. The remainder of the time spent will be optional group sharing in a supportive, nonjudgmental space. This group sharing will also include psycho-education and optional psychodynamic exploration (inner child experiences, relationship dynamics, etc.).

An important note: My work is grounded in protecting human dignity and emotional safety for all people, with special care for those who have felt marginalized or unsafe within larger systems. In my group spaces, we strive to honor diverse lived experiences. If perspectives are shared that may unintentionally invalidate or minimize another person’s experience of harm, fear, or oppression within societal, governmental, or religious systems, I may gently guide the conversation to support understanding and emotional safety for all members. 🫶

Lastly, if you’ve been involved, or would like to be involved in a future She Is Loved event, but are also interested in joining this group, please READ THIS! Thanks so much!

Due to the monthly format, this group is not a good fit for women who are currently in crisis, suicidal, those seeking intensive trauma or addiction recovery support, or those experiencing severe mental health struggles that would benefit from weekly or more intensive therapeutic supports.

I am in network with Aetna, Anthem, BCBS, Cigna, and United Healthcare. Without insurance, the fee is $40/session.

I’m a licensed therapist and mom. I cultivate safe, nurturing spaces for women and mothers to grow through mutual empathy, psycho-education, and the power of connection. I practice from an affirming, and anti-oppressive lens.
